Work sessions at PNRA are held every Tuesday and Saturday.

Many PNRA volunteers are productively working on Archive projects from their homes mainly using material provided digitally. We also hold weekly crew work sessions at the Archive on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm with masks and social distancing as needed. The sessions are for those whose projects require them to work at the Archive. If you would like to join one of the crews or start working at your home, please email info@PNRArchive.org

Donations
We ask our Friends of PNRA (aka: members) for donations only once each year during the spring GiveBIG campaign but contributions can be made any time during the year by clicking Donate Now to make a secure credit card contribution. If you would rather contribute by check, mail it to the address at the right on this page. Either way, you will be a Friend of PNRA. Our friends outside the US can donate here.

Delivering a World-Class Railroad Archive

PNRA's Vision:  Promote world-wide access to Pacific Northwest railroad heritage.

  • Our Mission:  Provide a permanent institution for the preservation of railroad records from the greater Pacific Northwest area and make them accessible over the Internet.
  • Preserve Railroad Collections which need a new home, but the owners or their families don't know of PNRA and our preservation mission. It is critical that the families be advised before the collections are discarded. If you know of such a collection, please contact PNRA.
  • Five Research Websites are the Archive's Front Door: PNRA manages websites for each of our member-Rail Heritage Organizations (RHOs) that provide world-wide access to many of the collections preserved at the Archive. Links to those website are at the top of this page. Email us at info@PNRArchive.org, if you see something you want to know more about.

Buy & Sell on eBay for PNRA

You can support PNRA when you buy and sell on eBay through the eBay Giving Works program. Here's how. Click Here to visit eBay's PNRA home page and Log into your eBay account. Click the phrase, "Add to Favorites" in the upper right hand corner. That is all there is to it. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see any items currently for sale on eBay that a portion of the proceeds benefit the PNRA.

Feel free to share the PNRA link on any social media site you use, with any potential donor. Once transactions are completed the funds are transferred to the PNRA to help our efforts to preserve the heritage of the railroads that served the northern-tier of the United States. Here is your chance to use eBay to sell your items and also support the work of the PNRA at the same time.

When you sell an item and select the PNRA as your Giving Works participant, the percentage you chose to donate is also used to reduce your eBay listing fees if the item sells. eBay Giving Works tracks your donations and provides the necessary paperwork for tax deduction purposes.

We hope you will consider doing this next time you have something to buy or sell on eBay.
